The European Patent Office (EPO) and the State Intellectual Property Office of the People’s Republic of China (SIPO) are to hold a symposium named “Users’ opportunities in the evolving global patent system” on 9 October 2015 in Lyon, France.

The symposium, which marks the 30th anniversary of bilateral co-operation between EPO and SIPO, will consist in opening addresses by the President of EPO and by the Commissioner of SIPO, followed by panel discussions with members of the European and Chinese IP communities, including the President of FICPI and representatives of EPLAW, LESI, EPI and ACPAA.
