Conference on Patent Litigation in Europe-the Unified Patent Court
The conference “Patent Litigation in Europe – the Unified Patent Court”, organised by the Italian Industrial Property Consultants Institute and by Italian MP Simone Billi, is to take place in Rome on Monday 15 April in Via Uffici del Vicario 21 at the Chamber of Deputies, Palazzo Montecitorio, Sala Salvadori, from 2:30 to 6:30 pm.
The event will be opened by the President of the Italian Industrial Property Consultants Institute Anna Maria Bardone and introduced by Sem Fabrizi, Italian representative at the UPC Administrative Committee and Cristina Contini, of the Legislative Office of the Italian Ministry of Justice.
The President of the Unified Patent Court Klaus Grabinsky, UPC judge Paolo Catallozzi, UPC Advisory Committee member Massimo Scuffi, IP Law professor at Parma University Cesare Galli, Farmindustria President Marcello Cattani, Federmacchine President Bruno Bettelli and Confindustria representative Paolo Markovina are to speak in the first panel discussion on “Legal Profiles of the UPC”
UPC technical judges Andrea Scilletta, Elisabetta Papa and Andrea Perronace are to speak in the second panel on “Scenarios of pan-EU litigations”.
