Seminar on the protection of intellectual property at Rome’s Campus Biomedico
On 5 April 2017 we will hold a seminar on the protection of intellectual property for the students of Rome’s Campus Biomedico.
Stefano Borrini, SIB Partner and European patent attorney, with Sara Manna and Giovanni Demegni, will outline existing tools for the protection of intellectual property, starting from patents and the basic principles that define patentable inventions and inventions excluded from patentability.
After a run down on substantial patentability requirements and rights conferred by a patent, students will be introduced to patenting procedures at the Italian, European and international level.
A brief outline on the protection of designs, software, know-how and trademarks will be followed by question time.
