It’s been great to join the University of Bologna in contributing to the 62nd AFI Scientifica Symposium, dedicated to the role of the health supply chain in the Italian economy.

The “Patent Extension for Medicinal Products in Europe” poster (in English) exhibited at the event is a guide to the Supplementary Protection Certificate, an intellectual property right available in the European Union which is useful to companies developing innovative medicines to extend the duration of patent protection thus compensating for the time necessary for product’s marketing authorisation to be issued.

The poster  was created by our Claudio Germinario and Paolo di Giovine together with Sara Bertoli of the IRCCS University Hospital of Bologna and Chiara Triunfo, Antonella Chiara De Palo, Federica Bigucci and Patrizia Rampinelli of the University of Bologna.
