To all of us at SIB, since its foundation 140 years ago, one of the most valuable aspects of our activity has been the possibility to maintain friendly relations with colleagues of any country of the earth, based on the principles of mutual respect and freedom to develop and express one’s own creativity and ideas  in an open, democratic and peaceful world.

In the name of these principles we wish to join all women, men, girls and boys worldwide expressing  heartfelt  solidarity with the Ukrainian people for the unjustified suffering and loss of human life caused by the military intervention on their territory and demanding that the war be immediately stopped and the power of reason and humanity prevail over military force.
